We start by analyzing your particular goals and using our project questionnaire. Then we work with you during the site design phases to build an effective web presence to reach those goals.
An overview and preparation meeting is conducted before the phases begin. We review the questionnaire and discuss goals for the site. Determine target audience. Another meeting includes: Talk in depth about site goals, hardware and software requirements. Gather, categorize, and prioritize data. Finalize goals and plan an action for, design, development, and implementation (client approval).
PHASE 1: Design
We will create two designs of your future website for you to choose from. These designs are not functioning websites; they are merely previews to give you an idea of the look and feel of the site. No code will be involved, only simple JPG or PDF files. It is at this phase that we make minor adjustments to the chosen design to best fit your needs.
PHASE 2: Production
After choosing the right design, the coding begins. Each page is created based on the template design that was chosen in the previous phase. This is the bulk of the project. All necessary data (graphics, multimedia, text, client/server scripting, database) are gathered, developed, and included in this phase.
PHASE 3: Testing
Several tests are done before completion. We make sure the website is compatible with the most popular browsers and compliant with the most important web standards. Any typographical errors, bugs in the code, etc. are cleaned up and the site is published to the web for viewing and approval by the client.
PHASE 4: Site Launch
Adjustments can made to page(s) depending on client's approval. We provide the necessary files to upload onto desired server. Further adjustments/modifications/updates after site is posted are billed accordingly.
